Alex Bag
The Van (Redux)

← Back

Alex Bag’s solo museum exhibition The Van (Redux). The site-specific design, fabrication and installation realized monumental, industrially detailed projection screens suspended in the Moore Building atrium in Miami’s Design District. Along with the fabrication and installation work, OOAI was responsible for the exhibition lighting design for the first major US presentation of a new work by the video and performance artist since her 2009 exhibition at The Whitney Museum. OOAI operated as an extension of Bag’s studio, working directly for the artist and museum to realize this 2015 exhibition.

Miami, FL

2015

Since the 1990s, Alex Bag (b. 1969, New York) has been a groundbreaking figure, exploring issues of performance, role-playing, narrative and polyvocality long before the popularization of reality television or social networks
